 Keep Them Indoors The best way to protect your pets from the cold weather is to keep them indoors .Unless your pet is specifically bred for cold weather, like a Husky or Malamute, it’s best to keep them indoors during a winter storm. Make sure your pets have a warm, dry and draft-free place to rest, and provide them with plenty of blankets or bedding. 

 Protect their paws: Salt and other chemicals used to melt snow and ice can be harmful to your pet’s paws. Consider purchasing protective booties to keep their paws safe from the elements.

Dress Them in Warm Clothes Just like humans, pets can get cold and uncomfortable in the winter weather. Consider getting them a warm sweater or coat, especially if they have short hair or are older.
